Introduction

ImageLab ("we", "us", or "our") is operated by Westnode LLC. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our website at imagelab.westnode.com (the "Service").

We are committed to protecting your privacy. Our core principle is simple: your images never leave your device.

Image Processing

All image processing — including conversion, compression, resizing, cropping, metadata removal, favicon generation, Base64 encoding, and SVG/ICO conversion — is performed entirely in your browser using client-side JavaScript and Web Workers.

No images, image data, or processed results are ever uploaded to, transmitted to, or stored on our servers. We have no access to the files you work with.

Information We Collect

Analytics

We use Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics to collect anonymous usage data such as page views, browser type, device type, and general geographic region. This information helps us understand how the Service is used and improve it over time.

Advertising

We use Google AdSense to display advertisements. Google may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.

Cookies

We do not set any first-party cookies. Third-party services such as Google Analytics and Google AdSense may set cookies in accordance with their own privacy policies.

Information We Do Not Collect

  • We do not collect personal information such as names, emails, or addresses.
  • We do not require account creation or login.
  • We do not upload, store, or process your images on any server.
  • We do not sell or share any data with third parties beyond the analytics and advertising services described above.

Third-Party Services

Our Service uses the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:

Data Security

Since all image processing occurs locally in your browser, your files are inherently protected. We employ HTTPS encryption for all connections to the Service to protect data in transit.

Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
